Meet the Staff
Robert Alexander
Robert Alexander became a real estate agent in 1977 and graduated from auction school in 1983. Shortly after, RARE Auction Group came to life. Conducting thousands of successful auctions, RARE Auction Group has evolved into a family operation. Robert’s daughters, Ashley & Staci, grew up in the business, graduated from Murray State University, and are both licensed professional auctioneers. Since 2008 they have operated the Online Auction and Marketing Department, including live simulcast Real Estate Auctions. With their extensive national research and marketing, they have opened our auctions up to the world, drawing high end buyers as far away as Seattle, Washington. They have a “born into it” love for auctions.
We recommend buying and selling at auction without reservation. We buy and sell real estate through auction almost exclusively. Robert purchased the first five of his & Jeanne’s personal homes at auction, as well as countless investment properties. The same goes for selling. Robert has sold all of his homes by auction industry contacts or on the auction block exclusively. Ashley and Staci also bought their first homes at auction. We believe in what we do, we practice what we preach- we invest in real estate and buy and sell at auction. Simply sell better.
Ashley Alexander Medley
A 2008 Murray State Grad, Ashley is a Second Generation Auctioneer. Ashley has been a licensed Auctioneer in Kentucky since 2009, and she is an Affiliate Broker at RARE Auction Group. She is also Co-Director of our Online Auction Department.
Staci Bachuss
Staci is a Second-Generation Auctioneer. She grew up in the Auction business and has been a licensed Auctioneer in Kentucky since 2009. Staci is also Co-Director of our Online Auction Department. She is a 2011 Graduate of Missouri Auction School, and she graduated Cum Laude from Murray State University with a Bachelor's of Integrated Studies, focusing on Commerce & Leadership.
John Alexander
John Alexander has been a licensed Auctioneer in the state of Kentucky for over 30 years. As Robert's first cousin, he got his start in the business working alongside Robert. He now owns and operates an Auction House on Jefferson street, with weekly auctions every Saturday evening. Although his business is separate from ours, he still helps us in a big way by regularly bid-calling at our auctions!
